About This Game:  Rating: T For Teen.  Publisher: Takara.  Year: 1997.

I don't think this game should be rated T.  I think anyone 8 or up would appreciate this.  There is no gore.  There is nothing dirty.  You're talking about a game where the whole premise is fighting with weapons, and they managed to make it fairly nonviolent.  That takes talent.  The action to this game is very fast but the well-designed graphics and backgrounds make it all easy to take in.

I've beaten this game a few times, but I haven't played with all the characters yet.  I will tell you about the characters I have played with, and will update this list as time goes on.

Rachel- Like a lot of the unlockable characters, this is really just a different skin on one of the major fighters; this one being a clone of Tracy (the woman cop with the nightsticks).  Kind of cute, but not as hot or memorable as Sofia, Tracy, and Zola.  My opinion on how she plays is the same as for Tracy.

Sofia- She's a sexy blonde fighter who is skilled with a whip.  A heroine.  The story tells us she's a Russian girl who has lost her memory and looking to regain her past through work as a private investigator.

Tracy- This is a pretty lady cop with a mean streak.  She's a good girl, but a tough girl; one of New York's finest.  If you hit the up arrow when selecting the character, she has blue hair; when you hit the down arrow she has blonde hair.  She looks better with blonde hair.  Her weapons of choice are two nightsticks.  I've beaten the game with her, but it's tough.  You have to get awful close to the enemy to hit them.  This is one of those characters that looks cool, but just isn't one of the best fighters to play.

Zola- For all intents and purposes, a "Catwoman" clone.  Very sexy.  Proficient with a whip.  A villainess.  She is one of the unlockable characters when you beat the game with one of the major fighters.  Still, they show her on the cover of the game.  Obviously a fan favorite.  As far as the story goes, she is an opera singer when she isn't a costumed fighter.  I unlocked her when I beat the game with Sofia.  She is really just a different skin on the Sofia character, but with sharp differences in appearance.
