Captain America & the Avengers: Publisher: Data East.
Year: 1991. Difficulty: Hard. Graphics: High.
I
love this game! The title is a little
misleading, though. You would think that you could have your
choice of playing Captain America or any of the three other Avengers
they show you on the packaging. Actually, you can only be Captain
America or Hawkeye. Unless you choose the battle mode game, then
you can be Cap, Hawkeye, or any one of four different
supervillains! In the main game you have to save your fellow
Avengers Iron Man and The Vision from the supervillains. The
backgrounds are very detailed and elaborate. The characters are
pretty good for a game made in 1991, but nowadays they can design
superhero characters in video games with even more realism. There
is just so much to see and do in this game. It really brings
these great comic book characters to life. There is no gore, just
fun superhero video game action!
Captain
Skyhawk: Publisher: Milton Bradley. Year:
1990.
Difficulty: Easy. Graphics: High.
A fun
jet-fighting game that calls for a lot
of shooting and blowing up of enemies. Well designed graphics and
brilliant colors. Easy to understand and play.
Probably the best jet-fighting game to introduce yourself to if you've
never played a jet-fighting game before.
Chip 'n' Dale
Rescue Rangers:
Publisher: Capcom. Year: ? Difficulty: Easy.
Graphics: High.
It's
easy to win, but the graphics are very
well done. The characters look just like their cartoon
counterparts. You can play Chip or Dale. Zipper the fly and
Monterey Jack the mouse appear a few times in the game to help you
out. You never see Gadget in the actual game because for the most
part she is kidnapped by the nemesis Fat Cat. She just appears in
the lead-ins between levels.
