Character: There were two really great, sexy
characters in the game Battle Arena
Toshinden 3: Zola and Sofia. Zola is a bad girl, and
an unlockable character after you win with Sofia. Unlike Sofia,
this game was Zola's ONLY appearance. She is a rather intriguing
character, though, very similar to Catwoman from Batman media.
Zola was given an interesting backstory. Born in Austria, she was a famous opera singer known equally for her beauty and voice. She lived a double life as an assassin for The Organization. Her weapon was a whip. Zola's cat-like costume borrows heavily from Catwoman, and her basic moves similate Sofia.
History: Someone at Sony must have thought Zola was an interesting character, because her likeness was displayed on the cover art and disc for the game. It's rare that unlockable characters for a game, generally considered as "giveaway" characters by game designers, get that kind of attention. Why Zola was never used beyond this game is a mystery.
