Saturday Night Live (1975-?):
The "real" Saturday Night Live ran from 1975-1980 with the original,
Not-Ready-For-Primetime Players. Since 1980, there have been good
actors here and there, but everyone was pretty much separate...there
isn't that "buddy" feel between all the performers. But I feel
the real death of Saturday Night Live came when Chris Farley left in
1995. He was the show's last vestige of hope and the life of the
party. He guested once in 96 and again in 97, but the show had
completely shifted gears. The 2000s has not been a kind decade to
the show.
