About This Series:  This was Don Johnson's second successful action series after the phenomenal Miami Vice.  These are two very different series.  I like them both.  I'd say an advantage for Nash Bridges would be the fact that it's lighter fare.  Miami Vice was an occasional tear-jerker, very downbeat.  Nash Bridges had a light drama/comedy feel thanks to Cheech Marin and the surrounding cast of quirky characters.  It's very similar to Miami Vice in the way that it's very stylistic.  Attention was paid to wardrobe and sets to give the most impressive visuals.  Although the production values were not as incredibly high as Miami Vice, Nash Bridges had a strong budget and boasted spectacular stuntwork and great stories.
