About This Series:  Very much inspired by "The Thin Man" film series, "Hart to Hart" was another mystery-adventure series that centered around a wealthy married couple.  Before "Miami Vice" started, this was really the only TV series that showed all this incredible, stylish flash.  There were always exotic locales, exciting pursuits, and big-budget settings.  And it was as big as all outdoors.

    Many shows had the promiscuous male hero with girls, but this was truly one of the few shows ever that had a happily married couple having adventures together.  And they're always hot for each other!  They don't ever give it up!  Every day is like a honeymoon!  That aspect of the show gave it a lot of the humor.

    Robert Wagner and Stephanie Powers are an incredible onscreen pairing.  I really don't think it could have been cast better.  Lionel Stander as Max really makes the show.  The Harts are great people, but still affluent.  Max is a lovable grump that proves all three are down-to-earth folk.  And Freeway the dog...he's just cute!  Who doesn't love Freeway?
