The Death of the Incredible Hulk
(1990): This is the third and last "Incredible Hulk"
made-for-TV movie after the TV series was cancelled. Dr. David
Bruce Banner is finally able to cure himself from being the Hulk.
However, a spy sabotages his laboratory before he can make the fix that
he's been so desperately wanting for 12 years. The spy is a very
beautiful woman with whom Banner falls in love with. She is a spy
against her will because her sister is being held hostage. Banner
and the spy flee to rebuild their lives, but the enemy agents are never
too far behind. Basic premise: the movie ends with the
Hulk's death. There was going to be a fourth film made where the
Hulk was resurrected, but due to Bill (Banner) Bixby's death in 1993 it
never came to be. It's a great movie, but I was kind of expecting
another superhero appearance. What? No She-Hulk? Even
though the Hulk gets killed and it's a weird way to end the show, we
all suspect that he will be brought back. However, he never was,
so for all intents and purposes "The Incredible Hulk" remains
dead. The major motion-picture "Hulk"
from 2003 is a completely
different show, based on the same comic book character, but almost
totally exclusive from the TV show/movies.
