Yosemite Sam is a classic cartoon character in Warner Bros. Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies theatrical cartoon shorts. He is almost always a villain for Bugs Bunny. In his most recognizable form, and as a standard platform in merchandising, Yosemite Sam is a Western outlaw bandit. However, the cartoons frequently placed Sam in different occupations, often replacing the "Yosemite" in his name with something else.
