This series is based on the live-action film, "Garfield". It's an excellent movie, and the line of stuffed animals created for it is absolutely brilliant. EXACT detail. And all of the major animal characters were done, including: Arlene, Garfield, Louis, Luca, Nermal, Odie, and Pooky. There was a small series (Beanie Babies) and a large series (Beanie Buddies Collection).

About: I love the look of Garfield from the movie. For the movie, they actually went back to the incredibly fat look of Garfield like he had from 1978 through most of the 1980s. It works! I always liked the older look of Garfield better.
