Series 1 and 2 of the X-Men cards had a pretty solid format. They
worked a lot with borders and everything looked pretty uniform.
The only downside is that, for the most part, you have to be a real
die-hard fan of the X-Men to enjoy a lot of these cards. Later
X-Men series concentrated more on real slick airbrushed art and neat
gimmicks like holograms, foil cards, see-through cards, whatever.
Overall, though, this was a pretty respectable debut!
