Batman (1989): Jack Nicholson as The Joker
- "Have you ever danced with the
devil in the pale moon light?"
- "Oh, Miss Vale. Another
rooster in the henhouse."
- "Never rub another man's rhubarb."
- "Bob, I have a flying mouse to
kill."
Jack
Nicholson is the one
and ONLY Joker. He really gave a breakout performance that will
hold up forever. Let's face it, the only reason Heath Ledger has
a following as Joker is because he died before it was released and it
gave the film notoriety. As far as being a funny, joking Joker,
Jack Nicholson really nailed it. Ledger's Joker is just scary and
disturbing with little levity to the character.
