Words From The Webmaster:

I didn't get as much done with the website as I had wanted to this month, but I still added enough to make things interesting.  I've been working on a number of big projects that I hope to be able to tell you more about in the next newsletter.  The primary changes were made in the Comics and Movies Departments.

Once again, Quinn O'Hara is doing her very first autograph show and she couldn't be more excited to see you!  Joining Quinn at this HUGE event are some of the coolest people around...most of which you'll find in the pages of Polar Blair's Den!  These include (but are not limited to): Rosanna Arquette, Erika Eleniak, Alan Young, Lou Ferigno, Sid & Marty Krofft, Kathy Najimy, Yancy Butler, Kristy Swanson, Tommy Kirk, Taylor Dayne, Edd Byrnes, Angie Everhart, Phil Lamarr, Edie McClurg, Marcia Wallace, and Francine York.  There are also a number of James Bond Girls coming to the event, and a Happy Days cast reunion!  I don't mean to exclude anyone, and more names are being added to the roster as we speak.  Check out their website to learn more (www.hollywoodshow.com).

The Comics Department is really two Departments in one:  Comic Books and Comic Strips.  Comic books are more than just superheroes.  For this month, I included comics on non-fiction, funny animals, comedy...even one where a giant monster lizard is actually the hero!  And, for good measure, a few superheroes are tossed in, too.

Comic Books

AMALGAM COMICS:  NEW SPECIAL FEATURE!  DC and Marvel combined their superhero characters to create new superhero characters!  For instance, Superman and Captain America were crossed to make Super-Soldier.  Wolverine and Batman were crossed to make Dark-Claw, and so on.

Angels From The Attic Store- Adorable stuffed animals with angel wings!  Also, Coloring/Activity Books!

Copper Cookies Dog Treats Store- UPDATED!  Healthy, homemade dog treats!  Fun shapes!  This product line started out of love for my dog, Copper.  As a concerned parent, I was shocked to find that manufactured dog treats often contain harmful ingredients (and things you can't pronounce!).  Copper Cookies Dog Treats contain only "real" ingredients.  And how cool is it to get dog treats in the shape of your favorite cartoon character or other unique designs?  Not only that, I know that my dog likes these treats better than the store-bought ones I used to buy for him.  These treats satisfy, and you don't have to give as many.

Quinn O'Hara Store- Rare photos of the steamy, redheaded actress from the 1960s-70s.  Autographed or Unsigned.
Quinn O'Hara Store 2- An even larger selection of rare photos of the 60s cutie.  Autographed or Unsigned.

What's Next?:

Well, a lot of the stuff that I HAD wanted to do for this month will pop up in next month's updates.  I wanted to add a number of shows to the Television Department.  "Green Acres", "Gomer Pyle, USMC"...those are just a few names I'm tossing out for you curious folks.  I've got some additions to the Actors and Cartoons Departments coming.  The Comics Department will have some new additions as well, because I've been on kind of a kick with that lately.  I've got some great new things coming your way in the Video Games Department, because I've recently been introduced to the original Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Gamecube.  As you may or may not know, the video games I feature in Polar Blair's Den are "people friendly".  I don't go in for violent or bizarre.  I love games that make you happy when you play them and even, possibly, challenge your intelligence.  Expect some new additions in the Stores Department.  The biggest thing I hope to get underway is the new History Department that's currently in the works.  I love general history, and it's what the whole concept of Polar Blair's Den was built on way back in 1997.  Everything I talk about is history, but American and World history are the raw ingredients of PBD, and more interesting than you might think.

In other words, a lot of fun stuff is popping your way next month!  Stay tuned!
