- Albert Einstein's once
brilliant brain floats in two pickling
jars in the Lawrence, Kansas apartment of Dr. Thomas Harvey. He
is the physician who removed it after Einstein died in 1955. Dr.
Harvey cut the brain into dozens of cubes and hundreds of slices, some
of which he sent to top brain researchers. The rest he kept and
took with him when he later moved and retired. As of this writing
(2006), none of the researchers have reported anything mind-boggling
about Einstein's brain.
