Hardee's "Smurfs" Series (1983)
Pepsi "Smurfs" Series
Hardee's "Smurfs"
Series (1982)
There were 8 glasses in this series: Gargamel &
Azrael, Jokey Smurf, Smurfette, Papa Smurf, Grouchy Smurf, Brainy
Smurf, Lazy Smurf, Hefty Smurf.
What I like about this series is that every glass has more than just a
drawing of the character. Every picture has background and/or
foreground. It's a funny scene that really makes the glass worth
having.
I took all the pictures you see of the glasses in this series. I
wanted to share with you the entire, wraparound scene. Hope you
like them!

Hardee's
"Smurfs" Series (1983)
There were 6 glasses in this series: Harmony Smurf, Papa
Smurf, Handy Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, Smurfette, Baker Smurf.
I really don't notice any difference in quality with this series.
It's done just as well as the first series. I love it!
I took all the pictures you see of the glasses in this series. My
idea was for you to see the entire, wraparound scene. Hope you
like them!

Pepsi "Smurfs"
Series
There were 8 glasses in this series: Drummer Smurf, Lazy Smurf,
Brainy Smurf, Smurfette, Jokey Smurf, Greedy Smurf, Fishing Smurf, Papa
Smurf. I don't know what year these were released, but I do know
they were made in Argentina.
It's pretty easy to distinguish these glasses from the Hardee's
"Smurfs" glasses. The most obvious tip-off is the Pepsi logo,
prominently featured near the top of the glass. Another thing is
the shape of the glass itself. Pepsi glasses of the 1970s-80s
were typically cone-shaped. They were also made of a heavier
glass. The "Smurfs" glasses of this series are much harder to
find than the Hardee's "Smurfs" glasses and command a higher price
among collectors. Truth be told, I think I probably prefer the
Hardee's "Smurfs" glasses over the Pepsi "Smurfs" glasses, but they're
all fine-looking drinking glasses of the cheery little blue guys.
I don't have any pictures of these glasses, yet. Keep watching!
