About This
Series:
A gallery series,
based on the popular Marvel Masterpieces trading card series of
1993. Each page is a full-page illustration of the trading card
art. There's a Table of Contents at the front of each issue, and
an Afterword in the back that explains the series and the particular
artwork of that issue. The trading cards are cool, and I do have
them, but I prefer this comic series of larger illustrations. As
with any gallery, some portraits are better than others. I won't
name names, but they're all good efforts.
