About This
Series:
Gallery comics
were popular in the 1990s, and many publishers did them of their more
favored characters. Shadowhawk was a hot ticket for Image at the
time, so it was only natural that he be given his own gallery
book. Galleries primarily consisted of full-page illustrations.
Issues:
#1: October,
1994. The last six pages of this gallery is a comic story called
"Epiprologue". It bridges the gap between the third and fourth
mini-series of Shadowhawk. In it, Shadowhawk is offered a
proposition by a disembodied voice to find a cure for his
life-threatening disease. I think this is a neat touch to the
comic; to end it with something that isn't really part of the
gallery. Cool idea.
The gallery boasts many different styles of
Shadowhawk art. Some pics are cool, some are just crude. I
won't name names, but it's all interesting. Everyone is going to
have their favorites.
