I truly
enjoyed this series. I
was surprised that Lone Ranger & Tonto was given such an honorable,
new story. In this series, Lone Ranger & Tonto are equally
important parts. They fight bandits, but the major villain is an
alien from outer space. Even with THAT as a plot device, this is
still a true Lone Ranger adventure. I'm really surprised Topps'
version of Lone Ranger was not continued much longer.
Zorro #0 The cover is
great. Good enough
for a T-shirt. The comic? So-so. Besides the fact
that the series was overly violent, storywise it just doesn't grab your
attention like a Zorro saga should. I'm still stunned that this
series became SO popular, as Topps' Lone Ranger & Tonto bit the
dust early on. I'd say the best thing Topps' Zorro had going for
it was the sexy, original character of Lady Rawhide. She doesn't
appear in this issue, though. This issue actually came bagged
with Jurassic Park: Raptor #1.
