Beetle Bailey #1

Original stories based on the comic strip, but reprints from other publishers.  Funny!  As with all the Harvey Classics line of titles, this series was referred to as Volume 2, but there was never a Volume 1 Beetle Bailey in the first place.  Harvey had never published a Beetle Bailey series before.  They did the same thing with other non-Harvey character titles such as Pink Panther, Popeye, Tom & Jerry, Underdog, and Woody Woodpecker.  I love this cover; it's a classic Beetle Bailey scene.

Blondie #108

I love this cover!  I only wish it didn't have pencil marks on it.  I bought this at an auction house.  Harvey had a long, successful run with this and other Blondie-related titles.  It's amazing just how well the strip converted to comic books.
