Fiction House is still famous for its covers, decades after the publisher closed shop.  Here is a prime example why.  Kaanga was like a more brutal version of the jungle hero Tarzan.  His greatest reason for continued popularity, however, is Ann.  She was an extremely sexy, raven-haired American beauty who became Kaanga's mate and sidekick.  Unlike Tarzan's Jane, Ann takes a great part in Kaanga's adventures.  I'm a great fan of the Tarzan comics from this period, but Kaanga definitely upped the anty.
