How novel!  A comic book series based solely on the "Bartman" persona of Bart Simpson.  Besides merchandising, we were never before given a real in-depth look at "Bartman".  The Simpsons TV series certainly never focused on "Bartman" other than a few brief spots.  So this side of Bart's personality had to be fun for the writers to explore.
