About This Series:  The series was called "Lorna, the Jungle Queen" from issue #1 (July, 1953) to #5 (February, 1954).  For some reason, Lorna was demoted, and the series was renamed "Lorna, the Jungle Girl" from issue #6 (March, 1954) to its final issue, #26 (August, 1957).  Maybe "girl" sounded sexier than "queen".  I don't know the reason for the switch.

The character is better known as "Lorna, the Jungle Girl".  She's noted for being perhaps the most top-heavy of the jungle babes from either the Golden or Silver Age of comics.  Lorna is a luscious strawberry blonde.  Like most of the jungle girl characters from the 1940s and 50s, the Lorna comics boasted excellent artwork and charming adventure stories.
