Tiger-Woman
played by Linda Stirling
"The Tiger-Woman" film serial
(1944)
Linda Stirling's debut and she did wonderful! This in no
way inspired my "Lenta Shane, the Tiger-Woman" character because I
didn't even know about it until late December 2004 (I first came up
with my "Tiger-Woman" idea in 1997). I bought the movie on DVD
for three reasons: curiousity of the movie's name, Linda Stirling
(who I already had enjoyed in "Zorro's Black Whip") and Allan Lane
(voice of "Mister Ed"). I was surprised to see that this movie
serial is actually quite good. The action sequences alone make it
worth watching. The differences between my "Tiger-Woman" and this
movie serial's "Tiger-Woman" are quite extreme. To learn more

Stirling is an absolute knockout! She's got a great pair of legs,
a pretty face, and an overall pretty body. I like the slip in her
little leopard skirt. But I don't include heroines on this page
for looks alone. That's just one of the perks. Linda
Stirling's "Tiger-Woman" is very ladylike, but tough as nails.
She gives as good as she gets in any fight scene. Of course she
gets knocked out several times (in movie serials, the women almost
always get knocked out), but not without taking out a horde of big,
male thugs first! In her later venture, called "Zorro's
Black Whip", Linda's character only
gets knocked out once and for only a few seconds toward the end of the
serial. Tiger-Woman is quite capable of fighting despite her
occasional naps and saves Allen (her male counterpart) just as much as
he saves her. She even gets herself out of trouble quite a bit
without the help of a man. Linda Stirling is quite athletic here
and lives up to the image of a movie jungle queen! Plus she has a
very pleasing disposition. Although she really has nothing in
common with my "Tiger-Woman" except a strong personality, I am quite
fond of this feisty, fiery jungle beauty! I have a website all
about this movie serial, with pictures, called "Meet the
Other Tiger-Woman". CLICK HERE
