Helen Slater is a wonderful actress (watch her in "Ruthless People" with Bette Midler, Danny DeVito, and Judge Reinhold) and did a wonderful job as Supergirl.  She's very sexy and fills out the costume well.  Helen actually had to work out for the role.  I like the fact that she's very feminine and polite.  Most men she comes across thinks she's a pushover in her Linda Danvers identity.  Her feats of remarkable strength, however, are enough to curl anyone's hair!  Like Lynda Carter's "Wonder Woman", Helen Slater ACTUALLY looks like the comic book character she's playing.  Isn't that novel?
