    What I like about this character is that she tries to help her husband (and vice versa).  She doesn't try to compete and doesn't have to prove her competency to her sleuth husband Nick.  And, of course, she's very, very funny.  She's not goofy, but is extremely witty.  Plus she has that cute, turned-up nose which is an interesting physical quirk.
