Quinn O'Hara
played "Weather Girl"
episode:
"Granny vs. the Weather Bureau" March 25, 1964

Born January 3, 1941 in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.  She had a small, but memorable part in this episode as the sexy, bubbly, bimbo weather girl Jethro and Granny watch on TV.  It would have been neat if the writers could've worked her character into more episodes.

UPDATE!  While looking through my e-mails on July 27, 2005, I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Ms. Quinn O'Hara herself!  How wonderful!  She has a fantastic website with rare info and pictures, and she was kind enough to grant me use of this information for her entry in "Beauties of the Beverly Hillbillies".  You can visit her very own website by clicking HERE.  The information in green below comes word for word from her website.

Quinn O’Hara first saw the light of day from in an elevator, going up, in Edinburgh, Scotland and she has had her "ups" and "downs" ever since.  Seriously, she was born on an elevator, etc.

Over the years Quinn has had the pleasure of working with some of the greats.  Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Jerry Lewis, Jack Lemmon, John Forsythe, Henry Fonda, Basil Rathbone among others, in the comedy arena and Charles Boyer, Ben Gazarra, Raymond Burr, Jack Lemmon to name a few, on the more serious side.  Special mention to John Astin for  whom she did “Prelude” which was nominated for an Academy Award.

That lead, after much world travel, to a decision to stay in London where she  "trod the boards"  with Siobhan McKenna, Ireland's most revered actor, and Nigel Patrick in the West End and had the pleasure of working with Roger Moore, Micheal Billington and many other famous TV personalities.. Quinn also had the great fortune to work with the incomparable Vincent Price in "Cry of the Banshee" while there.

In 1970 she was off to Amsterdam where she starred in Scorpio Film’s “Rubia's Jungle” for   Pim De La Parra and Wim Verstappen the very talented Dutch cinema team along with, Charles Gormley, author, coincidentally a fellow Scotsman.  The movie was the Dutch entry in the 1970 Edinburgh Film Festival.            .

After extensive travelling, Quinn finally became a citizen in 1992.  She regrets losing much of her memorabilia on the way.  Today,  her many interests include, landscaping, painting, tennis, ballroom dancing, languages, she still enjoys Tai Chi, as well taking care of her pets, currently, cats.

She currently keeps her acting skills sharply honed by volunteering to perform at the Writer's Guild staged readings, showcases and often works out with Joel Colman's Professional Acting Workshop which recently spawned Masiela Luscha, the daughter on "The George Lopez Show" and last summer Quinn played herself in "Me, Miami and Nancy".

She is ready to work at the drop of a casting call- She may be reached through Doug Bennett at The Gerler Agency 323-850-7386.
