About This Animal
- A REAL
SWINGER: An adult male fox is often accompanied in his territory
by one or two females, called vixen, and their offspring.
Wow! Is he Mormon?
- A fox
family lives in a main burrow, but several emergency tunnels will be
dug in case of danger. Each can be as long as 30 feet!
- A fox can
eat up to two pounds of rodents (including rabbits) every day.
But they also eat berries, worms, insects, fish, carrion, and, of
course, fowl and game (including pheasants).
- Foxes are,
indeed, as clever as they say. They have advanced senses of
hearing, sight, and smell.
