This was the first of two appearances for Quinn
in the long-running series "My Three Sons". This episode comes
from Season 4, and she played Betty McIver. She had a pretty big
part in this episode, and it's surprising that this character never
returned. At least Quinn returned, in the next season.
The "My Three Sons" shows were pleasant working
experiences for Quinn, and she has always been happy that she was able
to do one episode when William Frawley played Uncle Bub, and one
episode when William Demarest played Uncle Charley. Quinn has
also said that she enjoyed working with blonde Gale Gerber (also known
as Gail Gerber, Gail Gibson, and Gail Gilmore), who went on to star in
Elvis films and various TV shows and beach movies. Gale later
became the longtime companion of writer Terry Southern until his death
in 1995.
