His father
was also an actor. Norman Jr. was in quite a few movies from the
1930s to 1950s, but mostly in smaller, uncredited parts. His
one-time appearance as Ollie Shaw in "Blondie in the Dough" from 1947
was also uncredited. He was actually Ollie Shaw #5. Ollie
Shaw #1 and #3 was Stanley Brown. #2 was Frank Melton. Jack
Rice (the most common Ollie Shaw) was #4 and #6.
