Biography:
Dominique
Boschero
was
an
outstandingly
gorgeous French actress who
appeared in many films from the 1950s through the middle 1980s.
She started off in French films with small or uncredited parts.
She started getting named parts in "The Baron of the Locks"
(1960). It wasn't long after this that she headed to Italy and
starred in the 1960 comedy "Un dollaro di fifa". Dominique did a
lot of the fun films that were pure Italian, French/Italian, or
German/Italian productions. Her real breakthrough role was in the
1961 sword-and-sandal epic "Ulysses Against the Son of Hercules".
This was a good role, although too brief. She starred as the
extremely sexy Queen of the Bird Men. Dominique was a blonde in
this film, with very scant, feathery outfits.
But Boschero's career after this role really picked
up as she became a femme fatale in numerous spy films. In 1964
she starred in one of the most popular of the German/Italian spy films,
"The Secret of the Chinese Carnation". Many other films
followed. She even starred in non-spy works.
After the 1960s, she continued to work, but her
appearances became fewer and farther between. By 1986 she had
retired from acting.
