1965 Chrysler New Yorker
1997 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series
1965 Chrysler New Yorker: I've been
around this car all my life, but I didn't actually own it until after
my father passed away on May 31, 2006. I absolutely love this
car! It was made as Chrysler's top-of-the-line luxury car for
that year, and has been confused for a limousine due to it's great
length and size. This car holds a great amount of sentimental
value to me. Although I've always loved it, I never thought I'd
ever get it. That's one of those lifetime surprises. I've
nicknamed it "Excalibur" for certain reasons.

1997
Lincoln Town Car Executive Series: This car became the
love of my life when I purchased it used in May of 2002. Since I
was five, I was always fascinated with Lincolns, Cadillacs, and
Mercurys...especially Lincolns. For some reason, I never thought
I'd ever be able to buy one! But when I needed a new car at the
tail-end of my college days, I found out that I could buy one...and a
nice one at that! Back then, the money I was making with my eBay
business kept me going. I've never loved driving anything as much
as I do this car; I could never drive the Chrysler that much before Dad
died, and haven't driven it much since. I'm the second owner of
this Lincoln. The elderly couple who owned it before me put
90,000 miles on it, but they were all highway miles from annual trips
of Iowa to Arizona and back. The car still looks like new, as of
2009. Like the Chrysler, I'll never get rid of it. If the
body starts getting bad, or something goes terribly wrong mechanically,
I'll probably just keep putting money into it to keep it looking and
running nice. I don't like how the newer Lincolns look, and this
car is really the only one I've ever driven that fits me like a glove;
I love everything about it. I've nicknamed this car "White
Lightning"; it's real slick, and it picks up speed very easy without
much pressure on the gas pedal.
